PHARMACIST’S DAY CAMP
Pharmacy students celebrated PHARMACIST’S DAY on 25th Sep, 2017 with the awesome participation of all faculty members in the presence of Hon’able Chairman, Director General and Dean of HIMT Group of Institutions. All the dignitaries were honoured by presenting mementoes. Mr. Balwan Singh , Associate Professor started the proceedings by highlighting the importance of this day and invited Prof.(Dr.) D.C.P.Singh, Director(Pharmacy) to deliver his speech on this occasion. He explained how the Pharmacists are working day and night to meet the demand of medicines for the mankind? They are engaged in research laboratories for the new drug discovery and developing new formulations utilizing the latest scientific techniques. Hon’able Chairman and Director General also encouraged the budding pharmacists and wished happy pharmacist day. The Director (Pharmacy) along with the faculty members and student celebrated the occasion with cake cutting ceremony. Prizes were distributed to the winners of debate and extempore competitions. POOJA SHARMA-Winner Extempore, RASHMI SINGH-Winner Debate-Against, LALIT KUMAR-Winner-for, was awarded. All enjoyed the snacks and the program ended with vote of thanks by Mr.Balwan Singh.
